Application of the Fan Block-R

The Fan Block is designed to assist in the Lock Out Tag Out procedure when dealing with fans of all types. This document is meant to give an introduction to the many possible applications of the Fan Block.

NOTE: The Fan Block is NOT a replacement for Locking and Tagging out power to a fan and is not designed to prevent movement should the fan motor become energized. It is an added protection to keep the fan from moving during maintenance and service and should be used in conjunction with standard Lock Out Tag Out equipment and procedures.
