Salisbury offers a wide variety of ferrules for use in grounding assemblies.
- Shrouded and Unshrouded Ferrules - Shrouded ferrules are compressed on both the conductor and the jacket of the cable to reduce bending stress. Unshrouded ferrules are crimped on the cable strands only.
- Aluminum, Tin-plated Copper, and Copper Ferrules – Aluminum ferrules are offered and are suggested for use only with aluminum clamps. Tin-plated copper ferrules can be used on either bronze or aluminum body clamps. Salisbury also offers ferrules that are manufactured of 99.5% pure copper.
